9-0

Now that the Packers have played and our record is intact, I feel that I can relate how our weekend went.

I had Friday off, (Thank you dad and all you other veteran's to which I owe a freedom-load worth of debt) which I should have treated as a day off, but instead... got the tires changed, got a flu shot, got a pneumonia vaccine, got allergy shots, got my teeth cleaned, and still had time to get take-out and have friends over for dinner. Too much! Somewhere in there, I graded a whole bunch of papers.

The rest of the weekend we relaxed, took naps, etc. We had a great brunch with Jeff and Julia, our Portland transplant friends, and enjoyed having Amy and Francisco over tonight for pulled pork and some Packers victory.

We're excited to be heading to Portland next week to celebrate the Thanksgiving Holiday. Thanksgiving is my favorite, partly because of the food, partly because of the fact that it's actually one holiday that is altruistic as opposed to Hallmark, but mostly because of the focus on spending it with people you love - which we will be! It's my goal to finish grading all my essays before our flight out. Wish me luck.

Plus, I just love Portland. Bye and Bye Cafe, here I come!
