Happy Birthday Auntie Amy and Cousin Trip!
We took off early Tuesday morning for the airport. It had been a harrowing night before (teething?, gas?, excitement? we've stopped trying to guess these things) andso Joel and I were working on a few hours of sleep a piece. Cam zonked out on our laps for the first leg of the flight. Then, in Denver, we managed to find some space for Cam to stretch out and practice her walking.

We arrived at Grandma Sooz and Grandpa Mike's house on Tuesday night after a long day of traveling. A car, a train, two planes and another car ride later, we were happy to get to Holmen, WI.

This is Cam's first experience with the bundling up that cold weather requires. She barely fit into her car seat with her new purple parka and was not very happy about the puffy extra layers.
Cam's been dazzling us with her ever-growing vocabulary and in general spunky, fun demeanor. The hit of her Christmas presents so far has been the new walking/riding dinosaur from the Grandparents Banks.
Cam has been warming to grandparents more quickly than the last visit, which is nice too.
Tonight, we'll see the Holiday light display at Riverside Park in La Crosse.
Tomorrow, we're off to cross the great state of Wisco. Green Bay here we come!
