The little gal is growing... I swear she gets cuter and cuter by the day. But, then again, I am biased.

This was a week of lasts. I had my last day of the school year on Friday. That is why I am lounging with a glass of wine (having just put a zucchini tart in the oven, http://www.101cookbooks.com/archives/lasagna-tart-recipe.html) and updating the blog as opposed to making grocery lists, correcting papers, returning emails, resupplying diaper bags, and in general attempting to orchestrate the epic event each work week seems to amount to.

Graduation was Thursday night and then all the teachers met out for a drink or two (a few of them had more than that ;). I have Monday off and then report for Summer School on Tuesday. I am not looking forward to it per se, but when I think about it being just temporary part-time work instead of "having to work summer school," it feels a little less punitive.

This last week was Cambria's last day sharing Zulda with Mira. To celebrate the occasion, Zulda took the kids to a party at the home of another nanny share where the kids got to play in the sun and the water all day. Looks pretty great. I am more than a little jealous!

Cam is sure going to miss her little buddy Mira. They are best buds. They give each other hugs and kisses, talk to each other and hold each other's hands. I sense many a play date with Mira in the future. Cam's first BFF!Luckily, we will still have Zulda for our summer child-care (just with a different little girl named Shoshana). I shudder to think of our last day with Zulda, but I will be happy to pocket the fiscal difference between her services and the day care Cam will start in the fall.
Tomorrow is Fathers' Day! We will be heading to Russian River Brewing Company with the GanSavages. I don't know how Joel will be able to stand it because he hates that place. ;)

Love to you all!
