Yes, it has been a while since we've updated the blog...errr... correction, since I've updated the blog. But, a lot has been going on. Cam got a high chair! She seems to really like it and I am wishing we'd gotten her one sooner. I do a lot less cleaning food up off of the floor. Dignan has decreased in her steady weight gain (from the daily floor meal-time payload) and we're all happy about it.

We spent Memorial Day weekend in Pismo Beach with the Temecula Hoenes celebrating Jessica's second 20th birthday! We had a great time. We suprised Jess, surprisingly. She's a pretty suspicious gal. Jess very gracefully brought in the next decade, aided by some family love and more than one bottle of nice wine.
The cousins had a blast together and while the beach was a bit chilly, we spent one afternoon there hunkered down, sheltered from the wind between some dunes.
Cam is such an adventurous little gal. She has no qualms about getting sand in her hair, or diaper, or anywhere for that matter.
Cam's cousins are doting sweethearts. They were so gently and loving of their little "Cammy Belle." We wish you were all so much closer to us!

On our way back, we stopped in the town named after Cam. It's a cute little coastal touristy town.

Cam's lexicon is exploding daily. She likes to simply repeat the words she knows in endless strings of "mama dada doggy bapa (backpack) mama dada no no) Her favorite right now is "no dada." We aren't quite sure why she says it so much. It's dang cute. "Bye bye" is a big favorite right now too and she says "bye bye" to everyone, and I mean everyone. She says it to the people we see on the street. It's, once again, dang cute.

Berzerkeley is good. Our garden is growing! I have been putting in much elbow grease and we are starting to see the fruits of some of the labors. Our squash and tomato plants have blossoms, and the promise of yummy goodness to come.

I have 8 days of work left until summer. Never mind that I get one day off and am then back to work for summer school. Teaching only four hours a day will seem like a luxury.

Love you all!
