A sitter and a spitter

Well, that's what we have on our hands these days - a sitter and a spitter. Cam can now be trusted to pretty much sit unassisted and play. What a milestone for the little stinker! This gives her a whole new realm of independent play and mobility. Since she's still not rolling from back to stomach, we think she's headed for scooting before crawling. Time will tell. For now, here's our little gal, sitting and spitting out a little bubble.
She's spitting because those bottom two teeth are poised painfully on the edge, ready to emerge. Poor little gums. As a result, she's eating as many mum mum crackers a day as she can handle and pretty much gnawing on everything.

Every once in a while, there's a picture that I feel gives me a glimpse into what Cam will look like as an adult, or just when she's a bit older. Amy took this one - she takes all the good ones. She's such a beauty, she stops my heart.

We're off this Friday (also my last day of teaching summer school) to Russian River for Tad and Lena's bachelor/bachelorette shindig, then off to Marnie and Patrick's baby shower.

We're planning a family hike on Sunday. I look forward to days of nothing but Joel and Cambria.

:) Ellie
