Hendy Woods Vacation

We had a great weekend up in Anderson Valley, at Hendy Woods campground, celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. We took off Friday afternoon and so had 2 nights of camping, some hiking, some wine tasting and some beer tasting. We even had a nice afternoon cooling off in the river. Cam and Joel rocked the Explorer 20o, Cam's inaugural ride with her daddy. It's a beautiful campground: lots of big trees, lots of room in the space and lots of hiking and beautiful nature surrounding us.

We stopped on the way home today at Anderson Valley Brewing Company where Cam fell in love with a little teddy bear - perhaps comparatively it is a large teddy bear.

We also stopped at Russian River Brewing Co. - Joel had a great day - and that's where Cam hung out with her mama in this picture. She actually relaxed in the high chair while Joel and I ate a great meal. That's a first. She is growing up and getting more independent. While I get sad at that idea once in a while, it has its perks too.
