A night to catch my breath

Cam got a helmet and we also bought a bikeseat to have affixed to Joel's bike. The helmet is a bit big, and she's not a fan of it yet, so the transportation by bike is on holds for now.

Tomorrow is a staff development day at CV, so I don't have kids in the classroom and tonight feels kind of like a Friday as a result. So, instead of grading as many papers as I can this evening, I am taking some time to catch up on the important things in life, like updating Cambria's photo albums and drinking beer with my husband. :)

We were thrilled recently to receive a post card from the Holmen grand-parents, but we were surprised to see that Cam has become a celebrity in the Coulee Region.
Cam loves the exposed rock of Yosemite National Park. Cam is quite fond of Lambeau too.

We're having a little fun tonight. On a more serious note, Cam has been doing well. We had our 9-month check up at the pediatrician yesterday and Cam got her flu shot as well as one of the vaccinations. She took it like a champ: a little crying and then she got over it. What a gal.

Things are going a little more smoothly these days. I am still sad leaving my girl each morning, but she is doing great with Mira and Zulda. She has fun all day and is so happy to see me when I get her each afternoon.

Hope all is well with you all!
