Today, we all packed up and headed into San Diego for a day on the beach in Del Mar. Packing up with such a crew is no small feat.
You'll have to excuse that I have no pictures of
our day at the beach yet. I still have to download the pics from Amy's camera. Amy is our resident portrait artist. I'll just pepper the blog with other pictures of our last few days.

Grandma Sooz is in her grandchild heaven. Here, Cam is chilling out back of Jessica's home.
Cam got her first taste of beach and even got a little sand in the crevices. She was a trooper on the beach. She took two naps and weathered many sunblock applications from an overly-protective mama. Her last nap, she passed out on the towel in the shade. Pretty cute.
Trip and Regan are obvious beach veterans. They have all their beach implements and the practiced tans only a resident So Cal kid could boast of. It's fun to watch them cavort on the beach and run around in the sun. They seem so at home. It didn't take them long to adapt from being Minnesota kids!
We headed home late, but not too late for Cam to have a bath and some more rice cereal, which she is becoming increasingly fond of. She gobbled it right down.
Tomorrow, we don't have any other plans other than thanking those who died defending our country. We'll most likely relax and recuperate from our day at the beach.
We miss our Joel and Papa Banks very much.
