A nice weekend.

It was a beautiful Berkeley weekend. Sunny, balmy and warm.

Saturday night, Joel and I had a sitter, so we had dinner with Marnie and Patrick over at their house. It is always good to get out, even if it's nothing too crazy.

Sunday, we went for a hike in the Presidio of San Francisco with Amy. It was a gorgeous day and while it wasn't a long or hard hike, it was wonderful to get Cam out and feel active. She ended up falling asleep in the Bjorn and getting a nice little nap while hanging on Joel. Doesn't she look peaceful!

We went to Marin Brewing Co. for lunch after. What a nice Sunday.

Tonight, Joel and I started sleep training our little Cambria. Sleep training involves letting your baby cry herself to sleep in hopes that she'll learn to put herself to sleep, requiring much less effort from her parents. The literature says that most babies cry for 45 minutes on the first night, an hour for the second and 20 minutes the third. Our little trooper of a girl only cried for 15 minutes tonight. YEEE! Hopefully the rest of the training goes equally smoothly. Be thinking of us!

Tomorrow, I am taking Cam to the city for her first ride on BART, a visit to her dad's office, and a visit to the SF Museum of Modern Art with Auntie Amy. Exciting days!
