Hanging in So Cal

Ames, Cam and I flew down to San Diego to surprise Jessica for her birthday and surprise her I did. She cried... we got her good. Mom's surprise had to wait, or rather we had to clue Jessica in because Mom was delayed out of O'Hare, big surprise, due to inclement weather. She showed up the next morning and has been in grandkid heaven ever since. Yeah for Grandma Sooz!

Now we are hanging out with her and her family. Cousins Trip and Regan are so sweet and tender with our Cam. She is lucky to have such good cousins. When Cam cries in the car, Tripper says "It's OK Cammy Belle, it's ok!"

I only have a quick minute before we leave for the beach (tough, huh) and I wanted to get some photos and videos up for Joel who misses his girls, so this will be short, but soon I'll leave more of an entry. Oh, and excuse the nudity but Cam put her foot in her mouth for the first time and this video is the closest to catching it that I've done yet. She is enamored with her feet so it's fun to watch her in this new phase of discovery.

We had fun last night going out for Jessica's birthday too. We all got dressed up and had a nice dinner. There was some dancing too.
