Some Good Footage of the Babe

Some fun footage of my sweet girl. She sure is fun these days. She is finding her lungs too. The last few days she has started vocalizing, i.e. screaming. She does it because she's amused or pissed off. Now you have the footage to see it for yourself.

Some of the screaming may be due to teeth coming in. She is chewing on her frozen teething toys like crazy and drooling all over. Her gums on the bottom look a little stretched, so we'll see. Her friend who is only one week older got her first tooth this week, so I guess it's not too early!

met tonight with a potential nanny and nanny sharer. The nanny is a Peruvian woman named Zulda who is very nice and highly recommended. The nanny sharer, Emma, is a school counselor with a 4 month old who is headed back to work in August as well. Emma used Zulda for her first child who is now 5. The interview went well and even though we are keeping our appt. for tomorrow's nanny interview, we think this is the one we want to go with. It feels like it is established and safe and homey and loving. It's hard to think of leaving my little girl with another person all day long; however, this option makes the idea a little less cringe-worthy. Now for figuring out how to pay for it. Yikes!
